EXTRA LONG SELLA RICE 10K

PRE-COOKING INSTRUCTIONS -Rinse and wash rice till water comes clear, then soak rice for 30 minutes. OPEN POT: Take 3 cups of water for 1 cup of rice. Boil water and add rice to boiling water. Cook on medium heat for 8-10 min & stir one or twice. Drain water and cover it with lid for 5 minutes till the steam settles down& serve hot! CLOSED POT: Take 2 cups of water for 1 cup of rice. Bring water and rice to boil, close the lid and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes. Remove the heat and allow it to stand covered for 5 minutes till the steam settles down & serve hot! MICROWAVE: Take 1 ½ cups of water for 1 cup of rice. Place water & rice in a microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Microwave on medium-low, uncovered, for 15 minutes. Do not stir the rice at any time during the cooking process. Fluff the rice and let it stand for 5 minutes till the steam settles down & serve hot! ELECTRIC RICE COOKER: Take 1 ½ cups of water for 1 cup of rice. Place water & rice in the rice cooker. Turn on the switch after you put on the lid. The rice will cook in 10-15 minutes. Leave the rice for 10 minutes in the cooker after you have turned it off for steam to settle down. Open the lid, fluff the rice and serve hot!
